Building a visual system for ElasticON
Background
ElasticON brought the Elastic community together for product announcements, technical sessions, demos, and connection. As the conference grew, it needed a flexible visual system that could bring the Elastic brand to life across a large event environment while creating opportunities for the community to participate and connect.
Design Approach
I developed the pattern system that became a core part of ElasticON’s visual language and worked hands-on to bring it across the conference, from environmental graphics and wayfinding to stage graphics, registration, badges, and digital touchpoints. I also designed interactive installations, including the timeline wall and GitHub name wall, turning parts of the event environment into opportunities for attendees to participate and see themselves reflected in the Elastic community.
